This is a dedicated motorhome specification, in the Electronic Category and not a general commercial vehicle specification. The products tested and evaluated by SOLD SECURE are recognised by the Police and Insurance Companies.   The motorhome alarm system uses wireless sensors, passive infa-red to protect the interior and magnetic switches for all the exterior doors, windows, and lockers. Up to 30 sensors can be radio encryption coded into the system. The use of wireless sensors also means no wiring running around the vehicle, disturbing the vehicle trim. Random encryption coding means total security, the system cannot be "scanned" or the code "captured". The basic specification is as follows: 2 random encrypted remote controls (a total of 4 can be coded to the system). Remote central door locking (converts from manual, if fitted).
